Our graduate programs of Educational Leadership, Adult Education/Human Resource Development and Educational Technology are targeted to college graduates pursuing careers in educational administration, training, development, evaluation and instructional technology who want to expand their skills and enhance their career potential. Additionally, each of these programs can be pursued by working professionals in leadership roles where skills in developing and leading people have become critical to their organizations' success.
Our undergraduate programs and expertise focus on preparation of teachers and expansion of undergraduate skills sets through the minor programs of Educational Media and Human Resource Development. Our Educational Foundations courses are the platform upon which all teacher licensure candidates engage in the history, philosophy and analysis of education. Educational Media can be pursued as a minor by students pursuing any major on campus, including teacher education. The HRD minor is pursued by students in any major on campus, other than teacher education.
Our newly established ESOL Career Development Academy also meets the needs of adult learners aged 17 and above for whom English is not their first language. The Academy operates classes from 8-1:30 M-Th for 17-24 year old participants and offers programming each evening from 5-9 for those who are older or work during the day.
